In 1987, French skipper Marc Pajot took the helm of French Kiss. A revolutionary sailboat and a true emblem of French know-how, inaugurated by Jacques Chirac at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, she would take Marc Pajot and his crew all the way to the semi-finals of the America's Cup, the world's largest 12MJI class yacht race. Never has a French team made it so far up the list of winners in this legendary world sailing competition, and never before has another yacht made the Hexagone dream so big. With its extraordinary track record, it remains a symbol of excellence known and recognized the world over. This 12MJI was built in Vendée, in the middle of the pastures, in an undisclosed hangar.
After an exceptional career, French Kiss remained out of the water for over 10 years. But in 2022, just as it had drifted away from its natural element and the podiums, three enthusiasts decided to buy it and a 2nd 12MJI sailboat that also took part in the America's Cup, the "South Australia", and embark on an identical restoration. Their goal: to sail these legendary yachts once again in legendary regattas all over Europe, as well as during incentive events in Nice, and to offer as many people as possible a unique and unforgettable experience on 2 exceptional yachts.
