LES VOILES DE SAINT-TROPEZ HISTORY
The story of St-Tropez sails began on September, 29th 1981, when the sailboat Pride challenged the 13-yarder Ikra on a trip from the village of St-Tropez to Pampelonne beach, with the Nioulargo on the way (the nest of the sea in local dialect). Every year ever since that day, the most extraordinary sailboats, modern boats and classic yachts meet in St-Tropez’ Gulf to challenge each other in an atmosphere of competition filled with friendliness.
