The Paris fashion week takes place every 6 months since 1973 in the most prestigious places of the French capital which is also the world capital of fashion. The week of Paris dedicated to the Haute Couture is the most important of the 4 fashion week organized also in New York, London and Milan.
There are several weeks in the year including two reserved for Haute Couture in January and July, two men's fashion in January and June and two fashion “ready-to-wear” in March and September. Each time the new Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter collections are presented. The dates are set by the French Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion.
The creators offer incredibles runway shows each time for their handpicked VIP guests who are mostly celebrities, stars and the media.
Every week a hundred shows are presented bringing together the most famous brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino or Jean Paul Gaultier, but also the most talented young designers in the world like Georges Hobeika, Antonio Grimaldi, Galia Lahav, Hyun Mi Nielsen, Rabih Kayrouz House, Xuan, Iris Van Herpen, Schiaparelli...
