The Prix d’Amérique has been created in 1920 in recognition of the commitment of American forces during the First World War. This international sport event is opened to trotters from 4 to 10 years old and takes place every year during the last weekend of January.
The Prix d’Amérique, it’s 40 000 spectators in situ looking at this worldwide event which is also the best-endowed in France with a 1 million euros award. The 18 best trotters will be confronting each other with an average speed of 50 km/h... you'll be in for a real eyeful!

11:am, GATES OPENING: 40 000 spectators are expected to share feelings of a Grand Prix on the Vincennes Racetrack.
12:am, STARTING TIME OF THE 1st RACE: 11 races are programmed in the meeting with 7 Group races.
1:20pm, BIG US SHOW: Parade, parade of 100 Harley-Davidson, 100 drivers, 100 flag bearers, acrobats, dancers, stilt walkers, the opening show promises an unforgettable moment!
1:45pm, DRIVERS PRESENTATION: Drivers will be presented individually on the Vincennes’ track.
3:30pm, CARROUSEL DES LANCES: Benefit of the “Carrousel des Lances” which will consist of 25 horse riders, wearing the mane helmet and armed with swords and spears, accompanied by 30 musicians of the Republican Guard.
3:55pm, OFFICIAL PARADE: Presentation and parade of 18 competitors at the start of the 102nd Prix d'Amérique.
4:15pm, START OF THE PRIX D’AMÉRIQUE RACE: The 18 starters are launched on the 2,700 m of the main track of the racecourse Paris-Vincennes. The winner will be crowned World Trotting Champion 2021.
4:15pm, TOUR OF HONOR: Tour of honor of the 2023 World Champion.
4:20pm, PODIUM: Award ceremony for the first 3 of the Prix d'Amérique 2023.
